Climbing Camelback in Another Way

Camelback Mountain is good for more than just a killer hike. Rock climbing and rappelling are a great way to waste some time on Sunday afternoon with friends. You can't tell in this pic, but I am definitely wearing my brace mom. So stop worrying and PS, Happy Mother's Day and I love you!

What a great photo! Did you photoshop it? Don't tell me. Plus, if you do, I won't believe your answer!

Yes, it does look fake right? So for this photo, I simply enhanced the contrast (which basically darkens the black and lightens the light and voila, it looked like this. The original wasn't too far off though. You can only do so much using Windows simple picture editor, no Photoshop.

Nice shot! Is that the bit rock near the beginning of the hike? I remember seeing a top rope anchor at the top of it. Ah, I do miss Phoenix right now.

Yep Mike, that is the first big rock along the first climb up. We top roped it to teach some people how to rappel and then climbed up it. It is a fairly easy climb up, even for a gimp.
